Twelve persons were arrested during a Joint Service CoviCurb/Mass Patrol that was done last night (10/04/2021 between 19:30 hrs to 22:30 hrs) in the Mabaruma Station district, North West District, Region # 1.
The areas patrolled were Kumaka Water Front, Hosororo hill and Mabaruma Township. Persons were stopped and searched and at the end of the exercise, twelve persons were arrested in total for Covid-19 breaches, as follows:
*8 persons for failure to wear face mask*
*4 persons for failing to maintain social distancing*
*Sanitization:
Persons were warned to practice social distancing, to wash their hands as often as possible and to wear their face masks in public.
